I think that is what he is saying but I doubt he was referring to anything as specific as that - I am pretty sure "read about it" is just one of his go-to expressions for emphasis.

Could be wrong though.

Yeah, I'd actually never heard it as "read about it" but knew exactly what reviewr meant (almost as if I'd heard it in other versions, repeatedly)...like you, I took it as one of Bob's many "expressions", like how with BIODTL he turns sounds into phrases, such as "...a ba bub..." (ironically, most evident in the studio version), etc., his own unique "Bobby-scat" I always thought.

Later it seems to have developed into just out right screaming (NFA, LL, of course). The wife always thought he did too much of that--as some have said here, perhaps even getting close to Donna, though her more gutteral bellows (wails?) in PITB are singular, to be sure.
